"Incurious Seekers," charcoal

Ria Blaas has been a sculptor for twenty five years. Born in the Netherlands, she received her training at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Amsterdam. Currently she works as an artist in residence in the schools through the Vermont Council on the Arts. Wood has become her primary medium because of its versatility, availability and its humility. There will be an exhibit of her "woodwind works" at the AVA Gallery in Lebanon, NH this Fall.
