Kato began her artistic career working with clay and
mixed media. Fred began as a silversmith fabricating
jewelry and holloware.
We both have studied at Haystack School of Crafts,
Rochester Institute of Technology and the Corning Museum
of Glass. After working together as apprentices at Vetrate
Artische Toscana, a glass studio in Sienna, Italy, we
decided to collaborate.
Currently we are combining glass and steel in large
sculptures.
