Jeffrey
Simpson - Born in Long Beach, CA in 1950
BFA: U.C. Santa Cruz and MFA from Claremont Graduate School
(of the Arts).
Additional studies and foundry work ar Humboldt State University,
Humboldt County, CA.
Lived and worked as a sculptor in New York City before coming
to Vermont. Has exhibited his sculpture in numerous solo and
group exhibitions.
Cristina
Salusti - Born in Cambridge, MA in 1952
BFA: Manhattanville College, Purchase, NY 1974 MA: Teachers
College at Columbia University, 1979
Additional studies at Tufts University, Columbia University
School of the Arts. Recipiant of Pollack Krasner Foundation
as well as Fulbright Fellowship to work in Italy. Is a MacDowell
Colony Fellow.
Jeffrey
Simpson and Cristina lived and worked as sculptors in New
York City for most of their adult life. Their work has been
exhibited in numerous solo and group shows both nationally
and internationally. This is their second collborative piece.
Their first was part of an exhibit at Long Island University
in Brooklyn, NY. They look forward to doing more together.
Three years ago, they moved with their two children Michela
and Teo, to Woodstock, Vermont.
