My
steel sculpture is a visual progression of ideas and emotions.
What you see are my thoughts expressed in lines, color and
metal forms- a kind of visual poetry created on an intense
phsical scale. Much of my sculpture is set up in fields and
gardens around my home. I like to see how changing light hits
a forged curve and how snow delineates new shapes on iron.
I am intrigued with the impulsive strength of the wind. The
new images in my work recall both the pleasure of work and
the mystery of vision in terms of light , space and balance.
