Carlos is the 1999 Fellow of the St. Gaudens Memorial.

He is a native of Argentina and has lived in New England since he was twenty.

Currently he is a Profesor of Art at Wellesley College.

When he is able to he lives and works from his one hundred and fifty acre farm in So. Randolph , Vt.

His studio location near Barre Vt. enables him to find the materials he needs to create his sculpture.

Carlos has no assistants, he does the stone cutting and moving of stone himself.
