Elizabeth Mayor holds an MFA in sculpture
from Tufts-Boston Museum School and is presently working in woodcut
as a printmaker.
"Bride" is a very site specific piece. It sharply glows
white on the fern
covered floor of the Davenport's red pine stand. The title came after
the piece was conceived. The white repetitive shapes brought to mind
what might be the state of a nervous, unsure, fragmented bride. |
