Ray Perry is a native Vermonter. He worked for twenty five years as a professional scenic designer and has spent the last thirty years working as a sculptor. Currently exhibits at Elaine Beck Gallery, Jamaica, Vt. and Patrick Farrow Gallery, Castleton, Vt.

"Portable Allegory Baboon" is composed of wire mesh armature, covered with paper/wheat paste, fiberglass, resin and mat used to form detail. Painted with acrylics, textured with sand, etc.
